Wave Search

COOKIES

Cookie policy.

The short version: this website does not use cookies to track you, and we do not use analytics or advertising tools.

Last updated 15 October 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device. They can be used to make a site work, to remember your preferences, or to track your activity for analytics and advertising. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in much the same way.

2. How we use cookies

The Wave Search website does not currently set any cookies or use similar technologies. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Because of this, we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever introduce cookies that are not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before using them.

3. Our interactive tools

Our calculators and comparison tools run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter are not stored, saved in cookies or sent to us.

4. Third-party services

  • Fonts. The site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. To deliver the font, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google states that Google Fonts does not set cookies.
  • Hosting. Our website is hosted by Netlify, which records technical information such as IP addresses in its server logs for security and performance. This does not involve cookies.
  • LinkedIn. We link to our LinkedIn page, but we do not embed LinkedIn content or tracking on our site. LinkedIn's own cookie policy applies once you visit their website.

5. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The ICO's guide to cookies explains how.
